                                                                                                 Patrick Jamin

Patrick Jamin is an experienced investor and successful business builder. He is the founder of JOA Capital, an investment firm for high growth ventures with a focus on early stage ventures. He also serves as the FinTech Sector Lead for the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels Association of the Greater New York City Area.

Currently Mr. Jamin serves as CEO and Chief Investment Officer at NorthCoast Asset Management which he joined in 2012. In this role he oversees all investment activity including portfolio management and investment research.

Previously Mr. Jamin was a Partner at Numeric Investors where he lead all European Strategies and managed Numeric’s World Fundamental Statistical Arbitrage Strategy. Numeric was acquired by Man Group.

Prior to that he served as a Portfolio Manager at Standard Pacific Capital and as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at AIM Investments.

His experience also spans a career in data networks at Telmex, France Telecom and Intelig during which he built several international internet networks.

Patrick holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School with high distinction, a Masters of Science in Telecommunications from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications de Paris, a diploma of “Ingenieur de l’Ecole Polytechnique” from the Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau, France.

Patrick is a CFA® charterholder and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
